International School of Lausanne

The International School of Lausanne (ISL) is an English-language day school located in the small village of Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, just north of Lausanne, Switzerland. ISL was established in 1962, serving the needs of international and local families for an international primary or secondary education.

In 2005 ISL moved into a newly built campus with state-of-the-art facilities. There are currently about 600 students, and the school now offers the complete IB program (PYP, MYP and IBDP).

In 2014, the History Bowl team from ISL won the Junior Varsity division at the European Championships of the International History Bee and Bowl, which was held in Rome.
