Interchannel, Inc. (株式会社インターチャネル Kabushiki-gaisha Intāchaneru) is a Japanese game developer and publisher. Previously known as NEC Interchannel and before that NEC Avenue,[1] it was originally a subsidiary of NEC before 70 percent of the company was sold to Index Corporation (now a subsidiary of Sega), for approximately 3 billion yen ($28 million) in 2004.[2] Interchannel's games tend to be Japanese only, however the company has recently established Gamebridge Ltd., a UK-based joint venture with Bergsala, to publish its games in Europe.[3]
