INTEC is a third-party manufacturer of accessories for video game consoles.
History
The company was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida.
Products
INTEC manufactures gaming products including controllers, video and power cables, and battery charging accessories for all the major gaming platforms. One of their more unique products is a wireless A/V selector.
Console
INTEC also created a console called the InterAct. The console is a knock-off of the Nintendo Wii, which is apparent due to its design and its inclusion of motion-sensing controllers. It has low build quality with its flimsy plastic casing, mono sound output and outdated technology. The games for the console were available in multi-cartridges. Two of these include an "8-in-1" cartridge containing mostly sports games and a "32-in-1" cartridge containing miscellaneous games. Most of the games are of low quality and steal images or gameplay from other games (i.e. the title screen for a puzzle game is a screenshot from Crash Bandicoot while another game copies the gameplay from Super Buster Bros.) The InterAct was never advertised, not even on INTEC's own website. The console is not very well known and the best publicity it ever got was when Youtuber ProJared made a video review of it in 2014, calling it the "worst console ever".
