Institut Biblique VIE, in the province of Quebec, Canada is a French training center of the Christian and Missionary Alliance offering college level ministry certificates. It works with Université de Montréal to offer post-secondary credit.

Its name comes from its model of learning by integrating truth with life experience thus, the acronym
V - vérité (truth)
I - (integration)
E - (experience)

The Quebec City headquarters started training students in May 1999, after 2 years of preparation. The committee wanted to be innovative, and give students a chance to put what they learn into practice, and involve the local church in their own leaders' training rather than taking them out of the church for several years. The local church shows its support for its students by providing a ministry of mentorship and financial aid.

The emphasis is on spiritual disciplines to deepen our spiritual lives, learning to self-evaluate, developing a teamwork mindset, and constantly growing as we go through the pilgrimage of life. The principles learned are always applied to the student's individual church work.

The Montreal headquarters opened in the summer of 2004, in partnership with ETEM, l'École de théologie évangélique www.etem.ca de Montréal. This partnership allowed for an agreement for transfer credits with the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Theology.

IBVIE expanded to a third centre in Gatineau in the summer of 2005, renting a room at the Gatineau Alliance Church. A centre for the Lower Saint Lawrence area of Quebec is also planned.
