Innisfree (Hangul: 이니스프리) is a South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Amore Pacific.[1]

Innisfree is a naturalism-oriented cosmetics brand created by Amore Pacific in 2000.[2] The brand name originated from W. B. Yeats' poem, 'The Lake Isle of Innisfree'.[3]

It is one of the few Korean brands that use organic ingredients certified by France's ECOCERT organization.

Innisfree has stores in South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Japan, India, Singapore and Malaysia. Innisfree launched its first Indian store in New Delhi[4] on October 10, 2013, in Singapore on November 22, 2013[5] and the first store in Malaysia on December 5th in 2014. [6]

Products

Innisfree is known for being South Korea's first all-natural brand. Their products range from makeup to skin care products for men and women. Their products include the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask,[7] Olive Real Cleansing Foam,[8] and the Wine Peeling Jelly Softener.[9]

Spokespersons and models

Innisfree's first model was Han Chae-young. Actresses Kim Tae-hee and Nam Sang-mi have also endorsed the brand.[10]

On May 2006, actress Song Hye-kyo was chosen as their 4th model. In 2007, actress Moon Geun-young endorsed the brand until 2009.[10]

On September 21, 2009, Girls' Generation's Yoona became the new model of Innisfree, making her the brand's sixth model.[10][11][12]

On February, 2012, actor Lee Min-ho was chosen as the new endorser of Innisfree.[13]
