Live
Infinite Flight Live is a massive multiplayer experience released in August 2014. It took the developers over 9 months of work to release Live.
- Violations: A user can receive violations by going over 250kts below 10,000ft and most recently: User Reporting (allows the user to report another user for inappropriate behaviour. Here are a few violations: Going over 250kts below 10,000 ft. Going faster than 35kts when taxiing. Using an aircraft too large for a specific airport. A user enters an airspace that requires more standing than the user's current standing (See standing). The violations are based off real world violations.
- Standing: Your standing is based on how well you fly. If you fly well, make landings and do not violate violations then your standing goes up. If you fly badly or violate the violations then your standing comes down. Standing is required to enter some airports and airspaces. Class Bravo airports require 85% standing. Class Charlie airports require 75% standing. Class Delta airports require 50% standing, and Class Echo airports require 0% standing.
- Username: Most usernames in Infinite Flight are usually sensible, but some are inappropriate and not suitable.
- Experience(XP): You gain experience as you go along. You cannot lose experience. You gain it depending how long flights you do and how many landings you make in that period of time.
- ATC: Air-traffic control is available in Live only. A new ATC experience is avialable on Android (as of April 21st), with a full ATC experience, including Ground, tower, approach, departure, and center. An actual person(s) are controlling the tower at any specific airport. Matthieu Laban has been recruiting ATCs since Beta, most of them are VATSIM controllers.
"Live" is a new feature from Flying Development Studio. It brings worldwide players together so they can play at the same airport. Currently you have the option to pay per Month (USD 4.99) or a yearly subscription (USD 49.99) . "Live" is currently not supported at Amazon store. FDS (Flying supports ForeFlight since April 21st update. All the in app purchases of Infinite Flight are included in the yearly subscription, so in total, you have all access to regions, planes and live for one year.
Updates
Infinite Flight Usually updates every 3 months. Because iOS needs to verify the update once it's submitted, Android Users usually get it first. The latest update (as of April 2015) is rolling out on Android first, as usual, iOS users have to wait for verifying. Update History as of April 2015 (iOS)
