Indiaproperty Online Pvt Ltd is an online real estate portal in India for property buyers, sellers, renters and real estate professionals. It lists properties for sale and rent as well as information needed for the users to be successful in the property search process. The company is headquartered in Chennai.

History

Indiaproperty.com was previously a part of Consim Info (now BharatMatrimony), a company founded by Murugavel Janakiraman. Effective from March 2013, IndiaProperty has been established as a separate entity, and came to known by its present name, IndiaProperty Online Pvt. Ltd.

In December 2013, Indiaproperty received Series B funding of $12 million led by Bertelsmann India with participation from existing investors Canaan Partners and Mayfield Fund.[1][2]

Company Initiatives

As a part of the company initiatives, Indiaproperty conducts a series of property expos by the name of 'Gruhapravesham'[3] across major Indian cities and also abroad.[4]

Award

IndiaProperty was included in the top 100 Asia list for 2014 by Red Herring magazine.[5][6]
