Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirapalli

Indian Institute of Information Technology Srirangam, Tiruchirapalli (IIIT, Trichy)^[1] is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology located at Sethurapatti, Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu.^[2] IIITTiruchirappalli is an autonomous institute being set up by Government of India (MHRD), Government of Tamil Nadu and Industry Partners on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) mode, with the main objective of catering to the skilled manpower requirement in the field of information technology and related areas.

The academic session is currently functioning from temporary campus at Bharathidasan Institute of Technology till a permanent 57 acres campus comes up at Sethurapatti village.^[3][4]
