Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani (IIIT Kalyani) is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology located at Kalyani, West Bengal. The classes started from first week of July 2014, from the temporary campus located at the campus of JIS College of Engineering.[1] On 19 August 2014, official inauguration of the institute was done by the mentor director Prof. Ajoy Kumar Ray, the director of IIEST Shibpur. Admission to IIIT Kalyani is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the JEE Main.
