Indah Nevertari ( born in Medan, May 11, 1992) is a singer from Medan , North Sumatra , Indonesia . She is known as the first winner of the Rising Star Indonesia first season that aired in 2014 at RCTI television station, especially when singing the song "Gangsta" belongs to Kat Dahlia when live audition round.^[1]

Life and career

1992-2013 : Childhood and early career

Indah Nevertari born in Medan on May 11, 1992. She was the youngest of the couple teachers Mukmil Dumairi and Huriyah Lubis. She has one brother and four older sisters. Interestingly all of her brother and sisters have first names Emil and only Indah that not wear the name of Emil. Emillia Syafrina is the first sister. Both Emilza Mardiyah sister who is now the manager. Emilla Zola and Emil Idham are the third sister and first brother. Emilda Khairunisa is fourth sister now works as a civil servant in one of the government agencies in Aceh. Since childhood, Indah love and are good at singing Indian songs because it is often invited to watch Indian films by her brother. One of her favorite song was "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" known through the film they watch. She has participated in various les vocals and competitions since 6th grade. Indah completed primary education in Taman Siswa elementary school Medan, then continued her education to Taman Siswa junior and Senior high school Medan. Currently she pursue study in Accounting Studies Program Faculty of Economics, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. At the beginning of this lecture she decided to wear the hijab.

In 2013 Indah follow the talent show Indonesian Idol eighth season Medan audition by singing a song Man Down belongs to Rihanna. At that time she managed to get a golden ticket and qualify for the elimination stage in Jakarta. But she was eliminated in the first round of elimination episode and did not have the opportunity to perform in spectacular round . Through this event the public began to know her. Even Indah fans named " ineversal " has emerged since then. Indah inaugurated the name " ineversal " on February 1, 2014 so that date is the day so for all Indah fans. Indonesian Idol audition video has been viewed more than 2 million times.^[2] She also had to follow the LA Meet Labels Medan in 2012 organized by LA Lights by singing " Terbaikkah Untukku"^[3] which is her single and the song " Something's Got A Hold on Me " belongs to Christina Aguilera.^[4] In addition, in the talk show of hitam putih Trans7 hosted by Deddy Corbuzier on January 13, 2015, Indah said that she had attended a talent show other than the Rising Star Indonesia and Indonesian Idol, there are Indonesia's Got Talent and X Factor Indonesia . But then she did not qualify . When the X Factor auditions in Medan, Indah formed a vocal group with three of her girlfriend by the name of " Four Stars " . When the group qualify for the audition in Jakarta with the main judge, Ahmad Dhani , Bebi Romeo , Rossa , and Anggun . But before auditioned in Jakarta, Indah resigned from the group for any reason. So the group auditioned in Jakarta without Indah and finally they do not qualify. Before following a talent show on television and solo career, Indah had joined in an indie band from Medan " Bionic Band " as a vocalist and was issued a single entitled " Semua Ini Untukmu " with the band.^[5]

2014: Rising Star Indonesia

Rising Star Indonesia: Gangsta and Kat Dahlia

After the failure Indah in Indonesian Idol season 8, in 2014 Indah follow Rising Star Indonesia competition first season which also aired on RCTI television station . When the live audition round the fourth episode, she performed the song " Gangsta " rap singer's Kat Dahlia from the United States. At the half, Indah get voting 93% . Interestingly, after the appearance, Kat Dahlia immediately give appreciation to her via Twitter . Through Rising Star Indonesia event anyway, she had the opportunity to speak directly and duet with Kat Dahlia . Friday, December 19, 2014 grand final round was held . By singing the song "Animals" belongs Maroon 5 , "Man Down" Rihanna and victory song "Come N Love Me" , Indah managed to win the Rising Star Indonesia first season.

The Winner of Rising Star Indonesia

Final Round Rising Star Indonesia held on December 19, 2014. This round brings Rossa as a guest expert to accompany the expert remains Bebi Romeo , Ahmad Dhani and Judika and presenting Danish rock band Michael Learns to Rock as a guest star . Unlike the other talent that leaves two finalists at the end of the competition, the Rising Star Indonesia leaves four finalists competing for the first prize . Indah, Hanin Dhiya , Ghaitsa Kenang and Bluesmates band made it through to the grand final . This round is divided into three stages . At each stage, the finalists had to get the highest vote to beat other finalists . In the first stage, Bluesmates get the lowest voting and failed to get into the next stage . In the second half, the results of voting of the first and second appearance Ghaitsa accumulated and get the lowest number of votes which would automatically qualify for the next stage . In the final round, Indah and Hanin must compete to get the highest voting . By singing the song " Animals " belongs Maroon 5 in the first round, " Man Down " Rihanna in the second half and victory song " Come N Love Me " at the end of the round, Indah managed to get the highest number of votes and became the champion of the first season Rising Star Indonesia.

After winning the Rising Star Indonesia, on December 21, 2014, Indah appear first in the city of Makassar to entertain thousands of employees in a series of anniversary BRI to 119 in Mal GTC Makassar . She sang Cindai, Nirmala, Bang Bang, and Gangsta . The next day on December 22, 2014, for the first time, she performed at the dahsyat RCTI brought debut single " Come N Love Me " . On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2014, Indah invited by the mayor of Medan for a show in order to enliven the New Year's Eve in Pematangsiantar, Medan . She entertain the field by singing a song Bang Bang, Gangsta, and Nirmala.

2015-present

In early 2015, Indah visiting Medan Denai sub-district office and the mayor's office in Medan to thank them for the support of the citizens and the city of Medan as long as she competed in the event Rising Star Indonesia, so that she could be a winner . On 13 January 2015, Indah invited to the talk show hitam putih trans7 which was hosted by Deddy Corbuzier . In the event Indah said that in fact she had attended another talent besides Rising Star Indonesia and Indonesian Idol, There are Indonesia's Got Talent and X Factor Indonesia . But then she did not qualify . On January 23, 2015, Indah guested dahsyatnya Awards RCTI duet with X Factor Indonesia's first season winner, Fatin Shidqia sang "Problem" owned Ariana Grande . After winning the Rising Star Indonesia, Indah schedule very solid good for the show onair and offair . On February 7, 2015, Indah guest star in the party declaration Perindo event held in JIEXPO Kemayoran, collaborate with Ayu Ting Ting, Virzha Idol, and Mike Mohede. After being unsuccessful in Indonesian Idol season 8, on February 14, 2015, Indah guest star in the show Indonesian Idol Junior duet with Vitara sang " Impossible " Shontelle belongs . Having won the Rising Star Indonesian first season, on December 27, 2014, Indah formally asked to become the Brand Ambassador one of Indonesia's leading fashion hijab, Zoya Fashion. Zoya Fashion is also a costume which Indah worn during her performing on stage Rising Star Indonesia from big 14 round up to the grand final. On December 29, 2014, Indah on her first visit as Brand Ambassador at Store Zoya Plaza Medan Fair.

Indah admire international singers such as Christina Aguilera , Rihanna , Kat Dahlia , and Agnez Mo. She is known to have the character of a unique voice, Jamaican Voice, even the third President of the Republic of Indonesia, BJ Habibie admired Indah figure. During the show at the Rising Star Indonesia, she carries various types of music such as Pop, R&B, Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin Pop, Middle-Eastern, and Malay. Indah including contestants who could bring songs from various genres of music including dangdut and bollywood . Even as Indah expert in rap songs, she was nicknamed " The Queen Of Rap " .
