Inamdar (surname)

Inamdar is a surname^[1] derived from the feudal title "Faget" in India.In ancient times Inamdar's were called as Feudal Lords.^[2] The surname is found primarily in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat and occurs amongst Hindus, Muslims, and various castes.
