In the Wake of Determination is the second studio album by American rock band Story of the Year. It was released on October 11, 2005. The first single released from the album, "We Don't Care Anymore", was featured in the video game MLB 06: The Show. "Take Me Back" was the album's second single. The album is much heavier sounding than their debut album Page Avenue, due to switching producers to get their "true sound". Even though In the Wake of Determination did not sell as well as Page Avenue, it reached #19 on The Billboard 200.[1]
