Imani Uzuri is an African-American singer and musician.[1][2]

Uzuri has collaborated with such artists as Herbie Hancock,[3] John Legend, Vijay Iyer, Sanford Biggers and Robert Ashley. In January 2013, she appeared with the singer Morley at (Le) Poisson Rouge.[4]

In 2012 Uzuri released the album The Gypsy Diaries which was funded with a Kickstarter campaign.[5][6][7]
