Ikauna is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shrawasti district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This town is closely attached to the Shravasti. This is Lord Buddha's place, also called as Buddha Nagari. Every day many peoples come here to see the temples and natural beauty. Two blocks comes under Shravasti district: Ikauna and Bhinga.
Chairman
Mr. Jeetendra Gupta "Guddu" has been the Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Ikauna(Shravasti) since 2007 and Pradesh Adhyakash of Chairman Welfare Association. He is an active social worker who helps people overcome problems.
