Iida Station (飯田駅 Iida-eki) is a railway station in Iida, Nagano, Japan on the Iida Line operated by Central Japan Railway Company. It is the main station of the city.

History

Ina Electric Railway opened the station on August 3, 1923 when the railway was extended from Motozenkōji to Iida. Ina Electric Railway was nationalized to form the Iida Line on August 1, 1943. Since April 1, 1987 the station has been operated by Central Japan Railway Company.[1]
