Igli Gjeçi

Igli Gjeçi (born 12 December 1993) is an Albanian footballer who plays for Albanian club Partizani Tirana B as a forward, who is adept at playing as a striker or a wide forward. His senior career debut season he made it with KS Delvina in October 2012. After that half-season with KS Delvina Gjeçi was signed by KF Adriatiku Mamurrasi in January 2013 and making the first debut in Albanian First Division. In the end of the season Gjeçi moved from KF Adriatiku Mamurrasi to KF Tërbuni Pukë. He signed a two-year contract with KF Tërbuni Pukë but after one year with them Gjeçi signed for Partizani Tirana B.

Childhood and early career

Igli Gjeçi was born in Delvine, a small city in south of Albania. He started playing football when he was six years old. He started his youth career with Delvina U13. After seven years with this team, years that grew him up as a player, Gjeçi moved to the capital of Albania. He started playing with KF Tirana U-17 for about two years. Good performances from him made his coach put him to the starting-11 team. Playing as Forward he made 17 goals to the second season with KF Tirana U-17. The next team for Igli was KF Tirana U-19. A season to remember for him was the 2011–12 season. Gjeçi scored 20 goals.
