Idea Informer is a free customer feedback management service that allows website owners to manage users suggestions in a structured form. Idea Informer belongs to the Informer group of products; Informer Technologies, Inc. bought this project, initially called Useridea, in April 2010.[1]
Idea Informer lets users leave comments on one’s website via an interactive widget. The widget is to be installed on a website in order to receive feedback. Other users vote for suggested ideas, questions, complains, and testimonials, moving the most popular suggestions to the top of the list.[2] All the comments left by visitors become public;[3] though an administrator can also choose to create protected accounts. Different templates of widget design are available. Account owners can give official response to users who proposed their improvement ideas.[4] Idea Informer provides a free feedback extension for Joomla, which allows to use a feedback widget on Joomla-based websites.[5] The project has a Russian version called Reformal.ru that is currently the most popular feedback service among Russian users.[6] Apart from English version Idea Informer now provides German, French, Dutch, Italian, and Danish localizations.[7]
