Iceland national basketball team
The Icelandic national basketball team is the national basketball team of Iceland.
The team participates at European tournaments. It is qualified for the FIBA Eurobasket 2015 and is well represented in the Games of the Small States of Europe.
On August 28, 2014, Iceland qualified for the EuroBasket 2015, joining for the first time in its history the Final Round of the top European competition. Iceland achieved two wins to Great Britain and two narrow losses to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which allowed them to qualify as one of the best second teams.[1]
