"I Laugh in Your Face" is a ballad performed by the Bee Gees, Written by Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb and was released in March 1969 on the album Odessa.[1] It features the piano played by Maurice. With lead vocals by Barry. Robin sings harmony vocals on the chorus on the line So I laugh in your face. You're only one race. Yes I laugh in your face and I'm right. You lie just like the rest . But there's nobody best, So I laugh in your face and I'm right.
It was recorded and finished in July 12 same as they recorded and finished the song "I've Gotta Get a Message to You" (the song was appeared on the American version of Idea.) The mono mix made at this time, when it was a potential B side, was not released until 2009 on the Sketches for Odessa CD. Its demo version was also recorded in that day and was released also in Sketches.[2]
