Early life and career beginnings

I Am Trigg was chosen as one of the opening acts for Chris Lighty's Violator Management as the youngest artist on their roster in 2009.[9] At age 14, I Am Trigg [10] wrote and produced a song for artist Jenna Rose called "My Jeans", which features a rap by Baby Triggy, on YouTube in October 2010.[11] The video has "spawned parodies, video responses, rap replies and more than a dozen pages of written critiques."[12] In February 2013, "My Jeans" was featured in the Babelmusic.com's Top 5 YouTube Candidates For The Billboard Hot 100, making number 2 on the list.[8][13]
