The ITN News at One was the afternoon news programme on the British television network ITV between 13 September 1976 and 19 July 1987, and again from 28 March 1988 to 20 January 1991. It was produced by ITN and aired from Monday to Sunday at 1:00pm on ITV.
History
The first ITN lunchtime bulletin was launched on 13 September 1976 as the News at One. The final News at One was broadcast on 19 July 1987 and also marked Leonard Parkin's retirement from ITN. On 20 July 1987 News at One was renamed News at 12.30. On 28 March 1988 the News at One returned and remained at 1:00pm until 20 January 1991, when it was again replaced by the News at 12.30.
