The ITM Model 5 is a Kalashnikov derived carbine. The weapon is chambered for a .30 Carbine round.[1] The Model 5 was designed for use in close-quarters battle (CQB) situations, with ammunition that could penetrate walls. It received more attention from the military than previous ITM designs. A 9x19mm submachine gun variant exists as the ITM Model 6. The IM-Arms Model 6 or ITM-6 was a variant of the Model 5, using blowback, chambered in 9x19mm fed from HK-MP5 magazines.

Overview

The IM-Arms Model 5 or ITM-5 is simpler. It has a pistol grip, a side-folding stock and was chambered for the .30-M1 Carbine cartridge, taking M1 carbine magazines (15 or 30 round) or 125-round drum magazines of IM-Arms manufacture.
