IPC Swimming World Championships

The IPC Swimming World Championships are the world championships for swimming where athletes with a disability compete. They are organised by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) on a four year rotation with the Paralympic Games (every four years) and regional championships (every two years).

The first short course (25 m) world championships was held in December 2009 in Rio de Janeiro.
