Hywel Davies

Hywel Davies is a freelance fashion writer and journalist based in London.

Previously the fashion editor at iconic lifestyle magazine Sleazenation, he has also written for Arena, Vogue, ELLE, Wallpaper, Nylon, Dazed and Confused, Dansk, Self Service, Fashion Inc, Grafik, Time Out, The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph, The Financial Times,[1] The Observer, The Independent[2][3][4] and SHOWstudio.[5][6]

He is the author of Modern Menswear,[7] and 100 New Fashion Designers[8] both published by Laurence King.[9] His next book British Fashion Designers[10] will be published in September 2009.

He is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Communication and Promotion at Central Saint Martins.
