Hyperolius fusciventris is a nocturnal species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, and ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss. A social animal best kept with their own kind in captivity. Their diet consists of any invertebrate half their size.

The subspecies Hyperolius fusciventris burtoni is known as the lime reed frog. This frog is a silent species.
