Description

Hymenophyllum wilsonii (Wilson's filmy fern) is a small, fragile, perennial leptosporangiate fern which forms large dense colonies from creeping rhizomes.

Distribution

Confined to western Europe (Britain, Ireland, France, Norway, Spain and The Faeroes) and Macaronesia.
