Hylarana hekouensis (common name: Hekou frog) is a species of true frog in the genus Hylarana. It is named after its type locality, Nanxi in Hekou County, southern Yunnan, China. The only other location it is know from is in the southeastern Guangxi, on the Vietnamese border; it is not recorded from Vietnam but is expected to occur there.[1]
