Huo Ke (Chinese: 霍克; pinyin: Huò Kè; born August 1961) is a former Chinese politician. He was investigated by the Communist Party of China's anti-graft agency in January 2015. Previously he served as the Deputy Director of the China National Tourism Administration.[1]
Huo was a member of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.[2]
Chinese media reported that he had close relations with Ling Jihua, when Ling served as the Director of the General Office of the Communist Party of China.[3]
Life and career
Huo was born and raised in Yi County, Hebei.[4] He graduated from People's Liberation Army Nanjing Political College.[4] He began his political career in December 1976, and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1983.[4] He served in various posts in Beijing Military Region before serving as head of the Secretary Office of the General Office of the Communist Party of China.[4] On December 16, 2014, he was appointed Deputy Director of the China National Tourism Administration, he remained in that position until January 2015, when he was being investigated for suspected "serious discipline and law violations".
