Hunan Institute of Technology (simplified Chinese: 湖南工学院; traditional Chinese: 湖南工學院; pinyin: Húnán Gōngxuéyuàn) is a university located in Hengyang, Hunan, China.[1][2][3][4]
As of fall 2013, the university has two campuses, a combined student body of 19,000 students, 1,000 faculty members.
The university consists of 12 colleges, with 30 specialties for undergraduates.[5]
History
Hunan Institute of Technology was founded in 1975.
In 2007, Hunan building materials College and Hunan University, Heyang merged into the university.
