Hugh Fisher, CM (born October 1, 1955) is a New Zealand-born Canadian sprint kayaker who competed from the mid-1970s to the 1980s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won two medals at Los Angeles with a gold in the K-2 1000 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events.
Fisher also won two medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a silver (K-2 1000 m: 1982) and a bronze (K-2 500 m: 1983).
In 1985, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada. In 1985, Fisher was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
He currently is a medical doctor at Northlands Medical Clinic in the town of Whistler, British Columbia.
