Huang Min-hui (Chinese: 黃敏惠; pinyin: Huáng Mǐnhuì) is a Taiwanese politician in the Republic of China. She was the mayor of Chiayi City in 2005-2014 and vice chairperson of Kuomintang. Between 1999 and 2005, she was a member of the Legislative Yuan.[3][4]
Early life
Huang did her bachelor's degree in Chinese literature from National Taiwan Normal University and her master's degree in business administration from National Chiayi University.
Chiayi City Mayor election
Huang was elected as the Mayor of Chiayi City after winning the 2005 Republic of China local election on 3 December 2005 under Kuomintang and took office on 20 December 2005. She then secured her second term of mayor after winning the 2009 Republic of China local election on 5 December 2009 and took office on 20 December 2009.
