Houstonia micrantha, the Southern Bluet, is a plant species in the Rubiaceae.[2][3][4]

It is native to the south-central United States: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, southern Missouri, Alabama, western Tennessee, extreme western Florida (Escambia County) and a isolated locations in Georgia.[5][6]
