Houmayoun Mahmoudi / Homayoun Mahmoudi (Persian: همایون محمودی ) born 1966 in Tehran, is a British/Iranian cartoonist, graphic artist and designer. He studied graphic design and art at the University of Tehran and graduated in animation from the Tarbiat Modares University.

Mahmoudi moved to the United Kingdom in 2004 and worked as a freelance artist. He is currently doing PhD research in art and design at Manchester Metropolitan University.[1][2] He has won numerous international cartoon contests around the world since 1994 and has exhibited in many modern art exhibitions internationally. Skilled in minimal cartoon, he has his own technique of working on sandpaper, he also worked in other media. In 1998 Graphis magazine published Houmayoun's works[3][4] and between 1999– 2006 he was working with the Ritzenhoff Design company as a member of their artist team.[5]
