Hoscar railway station serves the rural village of Lathom, near the town of Burscough, Lancashire, England. The station stands between two level crossings: in Hoscar Moss Road and Frog Lane. 2,070 passengers used the station in 2004-5. 8 trains a day call on weekdays in each direction.

Trains run to Southport, Wigan Wallgate, Manchester Victoria, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport (peak hours only to the latter two)

The basic frequency of trains calling at Hoscar is every 2 hours. The last train to Southport is at 21:15 hours and the last service to Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Stations is at 22:35 hours. The Sunday service is reduced. A normal service operates on most bank holidays.
