Horpa is a pair of closely related Rgyalrongic languages of China. The term sTod sde skad is a Tibetan name for Horpa, literally "language of the people of the far Northwest". Horpa proper, or Ergong, and Shangzhai Horpa may be distinct languages.

Horpa is spoken in Ergong, Dasang District, Danba County of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan.[3] It is also spoken in nearby Dawu County, Sichuan.

Ergong is a non-tonal language (Sun 2013).[4]
