"Hoops" is the third and final single from the debut album Salt Peter by the trip hop/industrial band Ruby. It was released in the United States on January 1, 1996 by the WORK/Creation labels.[1] Unlike its two predecessors, this single would not chart in the U.S., although it did reach #102 on the United Kingdom charts.

The songs on this single were written & produced by Lesley Rankine and Mark Walk. Additional production and remixing on track two was by David Holmes. Additional production and remixing on track three was by Gantby.
Music video
As with all of Ruby's singles, this song had a promotional video made for it. The video was directed by Ben Unwin, produced by Rebecca Whitney and cinematographed by Scott Henriksen.[7]
