Holoaden (highland frogs) is a genus of frogs endemic to southeastern Brazil.[1] Depending on taxonomy, the genus is either placed in family Craugastoridae, subfamily Holoadeninae (Amphibian Species of the World, version 5.6[1]), or family Strabomantidae, subfamily Holoadeninae (Integrated Taxonomic Information System[2]).
