Hollywood Knights aka The Hollywood Knights Celebrity Basketball Team are an American basketball team based in Los Angeles, California composed of musical artists, TV and film stars. The team plays the faculty of high schools as a fundraiser for the school.

The team was the brainchild of founder David Mirisch in 1978, creating the first ever celebrity basketball team in existence. The first Hollywood Knights Celebrity Basketball Team consisted of the members of the 1977 Baseball World Series team, The Los Angeles Dodgers, including Hall-of-Famer Don Sutton, Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Steve Yeager, Tommy John, Jimmy Wynn, Rick Monday and television star Ron Masak.

In 1992, Michael Mirisch, David’s son, became the company’s CEO and catapulted The Hollywood Knights Celebrity Basketball Team into a cultural phenomenon. The Knights have traveled the world to destinations such as Norway and Iceland and as part of several USO Tours to Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hawaii, and twice to Italy.

Hollywood Knights International is a full-service celebrity events production and promotional firm. The company specializes in producing celebrity fundraising events (basketball, golf, tennis, bowling, poker, softball, paintball, karting), galas, grand opening celebrations, product launches, and booking public appearances with American celebrities. They have successfully produced major events all over the world and have raised millions of dollars for various charity organizations worldwide.
