Holly Carpenter (born 9 October 1991)[1] was crowned Miss Ireland 2011 on August 13, 2011 in Dublin, Ireland.[2][3] She represented Ireland in the Miss World 2011 pageant held on November 6, 2011 in London, England.[4][5]

Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model

In 2013, Carpenter was named among 28 semi-finalists for the 9th cycle of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model. She was chosen as one of the 14 finalists competing for the title. After several appearances in the Bottom Three/Four, she was eliminated in Episode 9 and placed 7th.

Personal

Carpenter was born and raised in Raheny, Dublin, Ireland.[2][6] She is the granddaughter of the late social diarist Terry Keane.[1][7] She is an art student completing a degree in textiles at the National College of Art and Design.[1][2][6][7] She speaks English, Irish and French.[6][8] She was in a relationship with Irish Rugby International Cian Healy for over two years but they split up in July 2014.[9] [10][11] In March 2015 she announced on twitter that her family pet dog Molly had died.
