Holloway & Caledonian Road railway station was a station opened in 1852 by the Great Northern Railway in Holloway as the first station north of King's Cross when that station opened to replace the temporary terminus at Maiden Lane. As many other inner London stations it suffered from later public transport developments, here particularly the tram and the underground Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway (now the London Underground Piccadilly line) which opened its adjacent Holloway Road station in 1906. Holloway & Caledonian Road station was closed in 1915 and has been demolished.
