Ho Kham (Thai: หอคำ) is a subdistrict (tambon) in Mueang Bueng Kan District, in Bueng Kan Province, far northeastern Thailand. As of 2012, it has a total population of 7,116 people[1] and has jurisdiction over 14 villages. It lies on Highway 212 and the Mekong River and border with Laos, west of Khai Si and Bueng Kan.[2]

History

The subdistrict was created in 1975, when 8 administrative villages were split from Nong Sawang subdistrict (then still named Nong Kheng) to form the new subdistrict.[3]

The subdistrict is subdivided into 14 administrative villages (Muban). The subdistrict municipality Ho Kham is the local government responsible for the subdistrict, and covers the same area as the subdistrict.
