Hit Factory was a 1985 compilation album of songs by The Monkees, released by Pair Records and licensed from Arista Records. The album was available in both LP record and cassette formats. The album sold surprisingly well the year following its release, with the reawakened interest in the Monkees stemming from the Pleasant Valley Sunday MTV marathon of their television series, in February 1986.

Two charted hits make their US compilation debut here: "Tapioca Tundra" and "Porpoise Song".

Despite its title, the album did not include a full selection of hit singles, instead featuring a few hits along with B-sides and album tracks, including rarely heard songs from the Monkees movie Head and their 1969 albums. The cover photo of the band was printed flipped over.
