Hire Manik Jale (Bengali: হিরে মানিক জ্বলে, English: The Hunt for Glittering Treasures) is a Bengali adventure novella written by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay.[3]
Synopsis
Sushil, a brave Bengali boy meets Jamatullah and goes to an adventure to an island of Dutch West Indies with Sanat and Jamatullah, where they finds a cave and lots of diamonds, other priceless stones etc. But unfortunately Sanat could not escape alive from there, he dies.
