Hiran Chatterjee (Bengali: হিরণ চ্যাটার্জী) (Born: 19 December) is an Indian Young politician, film actor and singer.[1]

Film career

His first role as leading character was in the 2007 Bengali movie Nabab Nandini, directed by Haranath Chakraborty, opposite Koel Mullick. The film gave Hiraan tremendous popularity. The film was a success and established Hiraan as a popular face in the top league of Tollyville. After becoming a star with his first film, he did not sign up for other films until he won the roles in Bhalobasa Bhalobasa and Chirosathi. Bhalobasa Bhalobasa became a hit and people started calling him the Chocolate Boy. Thereafter he got critical plaudits for his characters in “Jackpot” and Risk. His Macho Mustanaa converted him from 'Chocolate Boy' into 'Macho' guy. He is known now as the "Macho hero" of Tollywood & he achieved "Eight Packs" for this film. Le Halua Le" became a hit. And The Last Released Movie Majnu received a great Response.

Hiraan as singer and writer

He has released a music video album named Bindaass where he and his wife sang and acted. He has also written the story and script of a feature film "DOSHOMI" directed by Suman Moitra and acted by Koel Mallick and Bollywood Star Indraneil Sengupta.

Social work

He is actively involved with the NGO group called "Voice of World" and he is a regular contributor there. He believes in social work in true sense. His awareness made him pledging to donate his eyes even at this young age.
