Hinduism in Egypt is a minority religion practiced mainly by the Indian expatriates and workers in the nation. According to the constitution of Egypt, Hinduism is a non-protected religion and followers of it do not have freedom to publicly worship.[1] There are approximately 57% Hindus of Indian origin in Egypt, and they are 90% of the Indian population in the country.[2]

After the Egyptian unrest, starting from 2011, many Hindus came back to India.
