Hightown, West Yorkshire

Coordinates: 53°42′36″N 1°43′23″W / 53.710°N 1.723°W / 53.710; -1.723 Hightown is a hamlet within Liversedge, West Yorkshire, England, with a diverse socioeconomic culture. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, to the north, neighbouring the border with Calderdale, is Windybank council estate. To the east is Hightown Road, with some homes valued at over a million pounds, and to the south bordering Mirfield and Roberttown is a very middle class private housing estate. Hightown is where the Brontë sisters and their family lived, before they moved to Haworth.

Nearby towns include Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike and Gomersal, as well as cities such as Bradford and Leeds.
