Highsted Grammar School is a state-funded selective secondary school (grammar school) for girls in Sittingbourne, Kent.

The school was established in 1904 in Brenchley House on the High Street as Sittingbourne County School for Girls.[1] At an Ofsted inspection in February 2009, the school was rated 1 (outstanding) in all categories.

In early 2010, Highsted applied to be converted to Academy status, and was granted this in early 2011. In September 2013, Anne Kelly took over the post of headteacher after the retirement of former headteacher Jennifer Payne. [2]
