The Highland Road Historic District is a historic district encompassing a rural district developed in the late 18th and early 19th century. It includes eight farm properties, including well-preserved farmhouses dating from c. 1730 to c. 1800. The district extends along Highland Street between Woodman Road and Old Route 150 abutting the border with Kensington.[2] The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[1]
