High Earnock

High Earnock is a private housing estate in Hamilton, Scotland and is a subdivision of the ancient district of Earnock, along with Little Earnock, Earnock Estate, and Meikle Earnock.

It was built in the 1980s and has views across Clydesdale towards Motherwell, Shotts, Hillhouse, Earnock Estate and Little Earnock.

The community is served by amenities in the neighbouring parent district of Earnock Estate as well as the nearby housing estate: Hillhouse. Such amenities include schools, churches, civic centre and shopping facilities.

The area has transport links with Hamilton town centre and a half-hourly direct bus service to Glasgow and other destinations accessible via Hamilton town centre. High Earnock has a nature trail which is linked to Wellhall Road & Little Earnock & Torhead Farm. The local high school Earnock High stood for almost 50 years until the council shut it down, it was then set on fire, a new private housing area called Earnock Glen is currently being built.
