The High Council of Justice (HCJ, Albanian: Këshilli i lartë i Drejtësise or KLD) is an Albanian justice advice organ.[1][2] It tries to maintain balance in the Albanian legal system. This body was established in April 1992, by a change in the Constitutional provisions. High Council of Justice and its activity is predicated by the current Constitution in Section 9 thereof, while the structure is determined primarily by Article 147.
